Château du Trichot is a magnificent 12th century castle with high vaulted ceilings, large stone fireplaces and majestic stone stairs. It is situated near Thezac in the Lot et Garrone region of France. The Château is approached up a long private drive and is set amongst mature cedar trees. Château du Trichot is surrounded by sweeping lawns and 18 acres of its own land. The Château's own vineyard produces a fine red wine, once favoured by Tsar Nicholas II. Château du Trichot has been tastefully restored with modern facilities such as en-suite bathrooms.
